Julia survives cancer

Three weeks ago, my younger sister Julia went to the doctor for a yearly physical and found that her parathyroid gland was producing too much calcium. In preparation for surgery to remove the gland, the doctor happened to notice a growth on her thyroid gland. After the biopsy was returned, we recieved word that the growth was a rare form of thyroid cancer. Within a week, she was back in the hospital to have her throid and lymph nodes removed. We waited patiently, hoping and praying for her. This week, the doctor called and said they were able to remove all of the cancer in the surgery and that it had not spread to her lymph nodes. We are so grateful to the Lord for watching over her and granting her life.

Just one more cool thing to say when describing my little sis:

1. yeah, my little sister carries a machine gun to work and gets paid to blow up fake terrorists.

2. yeah, my little sister got and beat cancer in under 2 weeks.

3. yeah, my little sister can run a mile in under a minute.

Praise God! I had no idea she was sick but give God much thanks for the great report. I hope her recovery is speedy and complete!

And thank you again for sharing in the celebration of our wedding! It was a gift to have y'all there.

Christ's peace,
David
