Babies on the Way!

We had talked for several months about starting a family. So, when we found out we were pregnant it was very exciting, but not a huge surprise. What shocked us, and continues to be unbelieveable is that we are having twins! We can not wait for them to get here in July!

Jon's New Position

In the fall of 2007, Jon began the process to apply for the pastor position at our church (Grace Church of Columbia). In December, he received an offer contingent on a vote by the church. The church was overwhelmingly supportive, and they voted in favor of Jon after he preached at a service in January. He will officially begin in the new position on February 24th. Both of our families will be here for the installation and ordination service, and we are so excited about all that is in store with this new adventure.

Our New Home

Four people living in our house in downtown Columbia would have been pretty tight. So, we started to look for a house to buy that is near our church and friends. We were so grateful that God went before us and made it possible to get our first home with a lot of space for kids and hosting. We can not wait to move in this weekend (2/2/08).
