First Christmas as a Family

We took the girls around the neighborhood and gave out Christmas cookies. We have really enjoyed living where we are and getting to know all of the people who live around us. Our trip to pick out a Christmas tree was a lot more fun with the girls in tote. Although, I think it will be a lot more fun when they even know what's going on!

Gingerbread Houses in Asheville

Just before Christmas, we took a family trip to Asheville to see the gingerbread houses and decorations at the Grove Park Inn. It was a beautiful day to drive, and it was nice to get away for the day as a family. I love this picture. Kate looks completely bored and ready to go home. Unfortuantely for Kate, we had just started our tour of the houses!
