Family in Town

We were very excited to see both Jon's parents and Aunt Dottie this spring. Here are a few pictures of their visit with us!

Kate and Maggie were excited to give Pap his birthday cake and sing to him!

It was so much fun to have Aunt Dottie here. We miss seeing her

because she lives on the west coast.

House Transformation

In June 2010, we bought a house within walking distance of the church and closer to downtown Columbia. It has been a long labor of love to revive this old house, and it is hard to believe how much has changed. The house has been rewired, replumbed, walls added, kitchen gutted. Serious work. We learned SO much through this process...not only about working with contractors, but also keeping your marriage intact! Now, that the painful parts are behind us, we are really enjoying living here!
